A federation binding Biology and Ecology

Launched in 1996, the Agrobiosciences, Interactions and Biodiversity Research Federation (FR AIB or FR 3450) brings together the main Toulouse research teams in the fields of plant biology and microbiology, molecular and experimental ecology and in the analysis of biodiversity.

Objectives

Through its commitment to excellence in research, the FR AIB aims at:

  • contributing to a sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture,
  • promoting innovative plant biotechnology,
  • providing society with tools for preserving the environment and biodiversity,
  • Developing high-tech platforms for the benefit of public and private research.
